One of my students Rajib passed the BCS exam and got the Administration ((Admin Cadre) cadre. When he asked Rajiv about the job, he said:
"Sir, Admin Cadre is the best, I have done the best."
Another student of mine passed from Sajal 'BUET'. I asked him: -
"Will BCS pay"?
Sajal flew away after hearing about BCS.
He told me:
"Sir, BCS is so hard to pay
Why did I study Engineering at BUET? "
BCS is not worth it to Sajal!
Another student of mine, Sabbir, has become an 'Assistant Judge' or 'Judicial Magistrate' with the Judicial Service Examination. Asking Sabbir about the job, he said: -
"Sir, don't think that what I am saying is the real truth, apparently I am the best job holder in the world! If there is a case against the current or former prime minister, minister, MP, big politicians, big businessmen and big bureaucrats, they will take me to my court sir." Must say "
But a few days ago, another student of mine, Masum, became an "Assistant Judge" or "Judicial Magistrate" with the Judicial Service Examination. Shortly after joining, he quit his job. Masum then joined Jagannath University as a law teacher. One day when I met Masum in Dhanmondi and talked about her profession, she said to me: -
"Sir, it is more honorable to be a judge than to be a judge myself.
I am also often involved in evaluating written test papers and preparing question papers. "
A few days ago, I met a business friend of mine, Farmgate of the same batch of economics at Chittagong University in Farmgate. I talk to Farooq about the profession out of curiosity. In between the words, Farooq said to me after saying this:
"Friend, don't think anything. In my view, employees are servants. There is no freedom in this profession. On the other hand, there is a lot of freedom in our profession. Many work under us. In that respect, our profession is the best. On the contrary, others are foaming at the mouth for telling us, sir. Besides, other professionals can't even think about the comfort that the children of traders get. So our profession is the best! "
I was shocked by the words of my friend Farooq!
Wondering then who is the best?
A few days ago I asked my PhD supervisor, a senior professor of mathematics, sir: -
"Sir, which profession is more honorable?"
Sir said: -
"It is very difficult to say who has more respect. A secretary is above a doctor in terms of rank. Again, when the son of that secretary passes HSC, that secretary also wants his son to get a chance in medicine."
Sir further said: -
"The truth is, there is no comparison between one profession and another. Every honest profession in the world is honorable. Those who lack basic education and lack of human values compare. They argue, 'Apple is good, or orange? Sea? Or mountain? High quality car, not plane - etc "
I was impressed by the fluent words of Sir. I got the answer to my question.
