I can't belive it's been 3 years since I got this car.
It was my first EV(electric vehicle), Chevrolet Bolt EV. I have never had hybrid cars. I went straight from gas to electric. When I got this car the main concern was where to charge my car because I live in an apartment and the garage doesn't have a charging station.
But my work parking had a free EV charger for their employees so it worked out great. I just got there early in the morning and charging was done by lunch time.
Gas price was crazy expensive back then. It is still crazy? I am not sure because I haven't paid gas for 3 years! lol
And the over 300 mileage wasn't bad either for a full charge.
I drove only about 20,000 miles over the 3 years and I didn't do any long trips or anything so it was great. The car drives great and it is very quiet. It can go fast to. 0 to 60 in no time, but I am not into speed so it doesn't matter...
But the lease is up and it's time to go carless 🤣
No gas, no electricity. I will just walk and take public transportations or smoething.
I mean I don't have to go to the office, I don't go out much anyway so I don't need a car right now.
Maybe some day after all the corona is done, I might get something else, but for now I don't need a car.
It was kind of sad though... to let it go.
I heard some car dealers are carzy busy and selling cars a lot right now but my dealer was dead.
But still social distancing.
Well I was the only person there... but still they seem like cleaning regularly and taking all the corona stuff very seriously.
Bye bye car! I will come back some day.
