After reading much material on how to best dry your cannabis, you must have a dark room with slight air flow and not hitting your drying harvest directly with a 60% humidity.
Okay, dark room, check.
Air flow? Nope, AC broke just in time for the hottest time of the year.
Also, this plant is being harvested early for its time. It got stressed too early and now I had no choice to unearth and have it dry.
I did not precut any leaves, I want it to retain as much moisture as possible during the 2 week dry session. What I am looking for a slow dry. As much as I possibly can anyways.
This plant did not recieve much special treatment. It got mainly just tap water and almost no nutrients added. It smells delicious! My entire house already smells like cannabis.
If it starts to dry to fast I will stick it in a smaller space inside a plastic bin for the remainder of the 2 week dry period.
I am looking for weed enthusiasts on blurt. And everything relating to plant knowledge. Specifically looking for people that publish mainly that sort of stuff.
Excited for the day to be able to try it out and smoke it.
No name for this. The seeds origins is unkown to me. Lets call her.... batgirl why not?
Why am I growing cannabis?
My fascination with cannabis started very early. I wasn't afraid to try it to see what its effects would be, but during my childhood I had been fed with threats to try it rather than knowledge as to why.
Since I had embarked on a journey to discover its properties I see why they didnt ever tell me any real informative evidence in respect.
The lies upon the tons of lies over cannabis was absurdity. I couldn't believe it. If I was told the truth, I might have started consuming much earlier and had it help me with many issues and problems.
Well, the reason I started growing my own batch is due to my grandmother passing away from Alzheimer disease a couple years ago. My other grandmother who is very much alive today, has epilepsy. Both my grandfather's I never got to know personally and both died from heart failures. A condition that runs in the family gene pool on the men side.
And this is where cannabis comes in.
Not only does it help me get rid of depression for trying to live a sane life in this insane world, but I see it helping others too who are close to me. I plan to one day be able to provide for my family with what they need, be it for muscle relaxation, anxiety, stress, etc.
I am trying to ease them in. They don't seem to be too happy with me growing cannabis, but who can blame them? They have been spoonfed the same propaganda crap on anti marijuana politicks since childhood harder than I cared to pay attention to.
I was simply just one of those kids that got in trouble so often for "not paying attention".
Despite that, I have serious joint and muscle pain in my knees and lower back. Making me move more slowly to get things done around the house and work.
I always "wake and bake" now before starting my day. Otherwise, a day without Jane is just unbearable.
Thanks for stopping by everyone. What do you like or hate about cannabis?
