Important update: Fee Structure Changes Coming to Hive-Engine
Important points:
- Swap fees on Diesel pools are now 0.25% of each swap trade.
- Those fees are added to the liquidity pool and hence increase the value of each LP token.
- There are no fees for adding or removing liquidity.
- This brings Diesel pools more in line with the standard fixed-product uniswap-style pools.
This means that liquidity providers will be earning something on top of any token incentives, provided that such pools have decent volume in relation to the pool size.
A quick scan of the comments on the above post reveals that many people dabble in such pools without a clue as to how they work. There are many - many - tutorials on how swap pools work.
For Blurters, there are currently 4 pools that have a direct connection: SWAP.HIVE:SWAP.BLURT; SWAP.DFY:SWAP.STATE; SWAP.HIVE:SWAP.STATE; and SPS:SWAP.STATE.
Yes, Beeswap is another interface to the Tribaldex Diesel pools - I find it much easier to use.
No, Diesel pools are not currently available on Hive-Engine, only on Tribaldex.
On a personal note, there were discussions about a possible BLURT:BYT swap pool; I remain unconvinced as to the utility of it. However, with these new fees there may be a good reason to create one. Remember, there has to be some benefit to the BYT fund - giving out liquidity incentives is not exactly a benefit to existing token holders unless there is some other income. I remain to be convinced.
Buy BLURT on Probit, Ionomy, Hive-Engine and STEX.
Buy BYT on Hive-Engine
To clarify: the announcement that fees are now live was made in the Hive-Engine Discord channel, even though it linked to a 9-days old post.
I bought 20 dollar byt yesterday, waiting on some hbd to sell to buy more today.
Cool, thanks.
Yeah, with the HIVE/HBD price going up sharply can get more bangs to the dollar (so to speak).
Will there be a Blurt : Hive Backed Dollars pool soon?
Why would you want one?
Would you be adding liquidity?
