News BYT: BYT and BBLURT Bridge

The creation of a BBLURT token on BSC has revealed something totally obvious: that few Blurters have enough money to use this.

The bridge from BLURT to BBLURT requires at least 100k BLURT to make the transition economical. The seemingly large number is wholly due to the current low price; it is, after all, only about $450. Graphene users have been spoiled by the lack of fees on Hive and Steem Engines, whereas other networks have fees for breathing - on both the inhale and exhale.

You can invest in the BBLURT/BNB pool without going through the bridge. You just need to have BNB on BSC, swap for BBLURT and then stake your LP tokens. Even then, you still need some spare BNB for fees; I would suggest keeping 0.1 BNB liquid.

The reality is that you are going to do absolutely nothing with, say, 100 BLURT. However, 100 BLURT can buy you almost a whole BYT token.

So, I propose that the next 100,000 BLURT coming in will be used to stake in the BBLURT/BNB pool - this is equivalent to about 700 BYT tokens. I am not prepared to power-down our existing 1 million BLURT as that will reduce our on-chain income. So, I'm leaving this up to investors.

Yesterday, the new pool yielded 10% income.

So, if you wish to reap some of the benefits of BBLURT but don't have the capital then buy BYT tokens.
