The reward payouts this week have a headline rate of 22.7% APR, and the yield at par price of 1 HIVE is 54.9% APR.
The actual distribution has decreased slightly from 306.0 to 292.0 SWAP.HIVE.
BYT token holders will see their rewards in their SWAP.HIVE account - not in their BYT holdings.
The Numbers
This week:
SWAP.HIVE per 100 BYT Payout = 1.106 (+0.662 Bonus = 1.768)
BYT Headline Yield at ABV = 22.7% APR (36.7% inc Bonus)
BYT Yield in BLURT = 28.1% APR
BYT Yield at par 1 HIVE price = 54.9% (88.8% inc Bonus)
BYT Program Total = 2,017,000 BLURT equivalent
HIVE/BLURT Rate = 30 BLURT per HIVE
BYT ABV = 2.42 HIVE (2.18 USD)
Remember: multiply Headline Yield with the ABV will equal the Yield at par.

Insights
A reminder that Random Bonus MAR-A-22 was paid last week and the values have been added above to show the total distributed rewards for the whole week.
This week, the HIVE/BLURT cross-rate has moved very little, being slightly down but looking flat to the nearest whole number. The real increase in earnings has come from the Cosmos chain, again, so expect one more nice bonus in March.
Here is a weekly chart of the returns expressed as HIVE per 100 BYT.
I thought it would be hard to achieve the same level of returns as the ATH back in November 2021. The fund was much smaller than and the swing in coin values was quite large. But looks like the bonuses may help get close to those levels.
Worth pausing here, as there is some concern about the sudden drop in BLURT price recently. Firstly, nothing goes up in a straight line - except possibly your age - and to expect that it does is somewhat naive. Instead of being triggered by one day, take a look at the charts: here on Hive-Engine and on Probit. And to avoid living in a bubble, take a look at how ugly the Bitcoin chart looks.
Within the narrower context of the Graphene chains, and spcifically HIVE, during the seven months of BYT the HIVE/BLURT cross-rate peaked at about 180 and had a low of 25 - we are currently at around 30. Recall that in this case lower is better - it means BLURT is worth more in relation to HIVE.
Note also that the BYT program has no good reason to hide any trends. I've been doing this across 3 chains over 5 years, and those repeat investors trust the analysis. Whether the underlying market is going up or down, I can usually do better! But if I payout members too much, the fund will drain, and if too little, then members get wary.
This is the BYT price chart. Hive-Engine does not keep a full history, so worth seeing how the price has moved from the start.
We have finally broken through the 1.7 HIVE price, and now at 1.8 HIVE - still somewhat below our asset price of about 2.4 HIVE. Notice that BYT also had its dumpster - didn't last long.
I have been asked about how high BYT could go. The ABV is based on two things: the accumulated unpaid capital; and the HIVE/BLURT swap-rate. I have no control over the latter, so would just be speculation to try and estimate future trends. However, accumulating capital is a good way to form a buffer between the market and the program, hence I can sometimes pay out higher rewards even during dips. This is especially true of those holdings that are not in BLURT, so that the Hive and Cosmos holdings can both be more volatile but also more profitable than the Blurt chain on its own.
If you have any concerns about either BYT or BLURT... go buy some! Honestly, things don't happen by magic, they happen because someone makes them happen.
Don't Panic!
Buy BLURT on Probit, Ionomy, Hive-Engine.

Awesome. I’m buying the dips. The more it dips the more I can afford to buy.
Dips!! You want BYT to DIP!?
lol.
yeah, same here, it may cause a temp drop in earnings but will boost the capital longer term.
The HIVE/BLURT rate hasn't changed very much as yet - will see next week - so even though spikes look dramatic, this is no worse than the general crytpo trend at the moment.
Thanks, as always, for your support.
Not BYT… I am buying Blurt and Dtube dips.
Those "red bars" from the Cosmos bonus payouts are making a phenomenal difference to the overall yield.
:-)
Anything above 1.2 HIVE is a very good profit for me. Although, I honestly never expected the price to go so high ~ I originally bought BYT mainly for steady passive income!
I'M VERY HAPPY INDEED 😀
Very cool!
What an amazing program!
