BYT Back: Reward Distribution Done for 16 January 2023

This week's reward distribution has been done. Payouts in SWAP.HIVE and SWAP.BLURT and SWAP.HBD.

SWAP.HIVE per 100 BYT Payout = 3.359 (+ Bonus 2.238 = 5.597)

Headline Yield: 222.3% APR (assuming ABV before distro)

Cumulative Payouts = 77.08 HIVE/100BYT (72 weeks)

BYT ABV: 0.781 HIVE (before distro) - 0.747 (after distro)(0.258 USD)

Actual payouts were 500 SWAP.HIVE plus 40,000 SWAP.BLURT plus 100 SWAP.HBD.

This weekend's payouts have risen steeply again, largely thanks to the recent rise in the BLURT price, and the whole crypto market. As always, the cross-rates between investments and payouts are the most important, but we can easily see that the payout in USD has risen further this week.

The BYT ABV has also risen a small amount, even after this distribution. I shall adjust the buyback price on Hive-Engine. Do bear in mind that there is a balance between keeping liquid funds to buy back the tokens and distributing the same funds. Do also consider that the ABV is planned to decrease, so buybacks need to be prudent for the sake of all token-holders. The current price-point at 0.80 HIVE will lapse in a couple of days and will not be renewed.

I know the distro is a few hours early, but I find that Sunday night local time the markets are fairly quiet, so the calculations fairly stable - certainly compared to Monday morning in Asia, which is only about 10 hours away! Also, as we are winding down, it really makes no difference when I do the distributions, so long as they are accurate.

Any BYT token purchases made after this distribution will receive rewards next week.
