Upgraded BACKUP Witness Server supporting BLURT growth.

in business •  4 years ago

Hello Blurtians.

This is to inform you that I’ve upgraded my backup BLURT Witness server with the following hardware specification.

  • 4G RAM
  • 75G SSD
  • 4 cores
  • 100mbps

The servers were configured as ACTIVE-BACKUP setup. This means, both servers are up and running. If the primary server (ACTIVE) is having a hardware or network issue, and continues to miss 2 blocks, it will automatically transition to the BACKUP server minimizing down time of the service.

As BLURT continues to grow, the infrastructure is ready to support it.

Kudos to @ericet a fellow witness, providing an open source Witness Nodes Auto Switcher.

But, I haven't been received BLURT in steem-engine yet.

Could you check it, please.
