I feel so happy when my guests leave us an appreciation note. It is difficult to get good reviews from customers. When it comes to payment, customers negotiate and negotiate and wants to get the cheapest price and when it comes to facilities they want to best facilities, this is the sad part of running a home stay and if then there is little problem also they create a big noise.
Over this weekend there was a group of 10 people who came over to spend their weekend at our villa. Of course they took a big discount while booking, they kept bargaining and bargaining like hell and since now it's a little lull period I kind of agreed to a lower price. When they came over, there was some power issue in the whole locality and the internet connection was not working. They immediately called me up and started complaining, they were wanting that I should resolve the problem immediately. I had to make them understand patiently that this was not my villa problem, this was an overall problem of the area where everyone was impacted. Thankfully the connection was restored and the internet connection was working.
I was not expecting that they would leave any review for me, but then morning I got a surprise with their review as it was a very good one. I felt good that for a change even with some issues some one had good to write about. Else whenever there is even a small issue then people forget all the good that's happening and crib over very small things.
This gives me a very good feeling
