Bully Watch - Blurt Anti-Bullying Policy

in bullying •  3 years ago  (edited)

What if someone shares a picture with their hair braided and it causes someone to be upset they culturally appropriated? That fits this description. Demo lovato recently had a breakdown and called out an ice cream shop because they displayed sugar free ice cream on promotion and she said it triggered her eating disorder. This behaviour made someone feel upset, uncomfortable and attacked. Is that considered bullying?

You might say I’m being silly but Demi really believes this ice cream shop is completely to blame and doesn’t feel any need to be responsible for her own feelings or triggers. So who on blurt is deciding what’s rediculous vs genuinely bullying because the line is very fine these days. If someone feels bullied but hasn’t blocked the person then they are enjoying it on some level. If the person continues to harass them on various platforms or threaten them then that’s when the police could get involved.
