HOW I GOT OVER BRAIN FOGS OR FOGGY BRAIN

Everyone at one point or the other has experienced BRAIN FOG, if not often.

WHAT IS BRAIN FOG ?
It is a type of cognitive dysfunction that includes the following symptoms:
. Concentration is difficult.
. Extreme mental exhaustion
. Problems with memory

SYMPTOMS AND CAUSES OF BRAIN FOG

The following are some of the signs and symptoms:

  • Inability to concentrate and focus
  • Excessive and constant tiredness
  • Forgetfulness

Causes of Brain Fog

  • High stress levels
  • Not getting enough exercise or sleep
  • Poor nutrition
  • Dehydration

SOLUTIONS TO FIX BRAIN FOG

  • Get more sleep
    (As a young adult is necessary to sleep for 7 - 9hrs/ night.. Do not over sleep, be moderate in your sleep hours)

  • Exercise
    (I can't stress enough how beneficial exercise is. Exercise increases blood flow, which helps you stay awake and reduces brain fog.)
    N.B: you can walk a long distant 2km is OK or just run around the house.

  • Manage your stress
    (This life is not easy!
    Schedule a time in a day for Mediating, Journaling or reading a book)

  • Eat Healthy Foods
    let me emphasis on this point a little.
    As Nigerians are fond of saying "I can not kill myself"! It is important to know the role that a Good Meal does to your body. As you work to make money, take a time off to get some good food. You've been eating junks (bread, noodles, and biscuit).
    It would be great if your give yourself a nice treat.

    • Take yourself out on a date (a good restaurant if you don't have the time to cook)
    • Order for some correct food like AMALA or POUNDED YAM or anyone that is your favourite.
    • Get a good SOUP. (the one that will leave a lasting impression on your taste-bud)
    • Collect the MEAT or FISH in a different plate (Loosen your belt a little, so devouring it will take a free flow)
