You know, As a witness, I have done my part to keep remembering what the Blurt is... I always tried to offer something better for users who do power-ups and have faith in blurt. So as a result of that, I started a BPUD Event a year ago without knowing whether it will succeed or not.
If you remember we started BPUD Event with only a 20,000 BP delegation prize pool last year in February and We got like 22 entries for that event. I was surprised to see that much of entries in our very first event. Because there was a fud also going through blurt platform as "BPUD is a Useless Event".
The only thing I wanted to do is promote BPUD Event and have more entries with more prizes for users. I think with time I was able to increase the prize pool to be the highest prize pool for an event on Blurt platform with the support of great sponsors. But I didn't get the expected number of entries with the time. So I thought It was time to move on from BPUD Event.
Before ending the Event, I want to thank all our sponsors of the BPUD Event from the very first day. @alejos7ven, @blessed-girl, and @kamranrkploy are the very first sponsors for the 1st BPUD Event and Thank you for all your support for this event. @maskuncoro is also a great supporter of the BPUD event from the beginning up to now. Thank you friend for all your support. And @blurtyield joined with the second event sponsoring and He is still a sponsor and I should thank him also.. and also there were a few more sponsors like @world-travel-pro, @opidia, @megadrive who gave their delegations and vote prizes for a few events also. Thank you very much for your support.
And also recently I met a great person and supporter for the BPUD event and I must appreciate his effort also. He is @nalexadre and he personally sponsored 1000 liquid to blurt to the BPUD Twitter promotion event and a BPUD page on Beblurt. And also he was one of the highest powered-up users in most BPUD Events. So, Thank you my friend.
If someone said "BPUD is a useless Event" I will share the summary of all BPUD Events below to decide about that thought.

Total Power Up - 1086782.084 BLURT
So, we were able to power up more than 1 Mil Blurt within a year. Thank you to all who have contributed to this event and it's time to say goodbye to the BPUD Event.
People forget. I mentioned months ago that on Hive something similar was done weekly, with league tables tracking newbs as they increase BP. BUT that requires more admin time - so, maybe call for more helpers.
yes, ask those goodwill messengers if they would help!
even r2cornell could not be run by one person - there's a team.
It is about low engagements and it is not helping that much , even though it requires time to do it .
You're correct dear. No point in doing this with less participation. Need to have something more attractive than BPUD.
Yes.. you're correct. People always forget. I really like some events in the hive platform to have here too because mechanisms like poshtoken add more attraction to the blurt through Twitter.
Why should it be stopped? Even though I plan to increase the number of delegates...
I know friend... But if we look at the table, there isn't much number of entries for the BPUD event compared to early events. So I feel like users are bored with the event. That's why I though to stop the BPUD.
Good day my friend, I must thank you for starting up such an amazing event like the bpud here in blurt, I know I tried so many times to key in and participate but I wouldn't still meet up. Please don't let go off an event like this. Sometimes in blurttribe, there's no engagement at all but we still put up the post, we never gave up. Let's not give up on blurt power up day, it's needed here in this Blockchain. We could help you spread the word and as well count us in no matter how small.
Thanks and God bless🙏
Hello friend, without engagement, there is no value for users by doing the same thing. That's why I thought to change the event which may attract more users than now. May be when the users are increasing we will see the BPUD event once again.
That is very sad to hear... 😔 Maybe someday, it will be revived!? 😉
Yes...It may come back again one day if the users are interested to participate. But for now, I feel like users are not interested to participate even though we gave big prizes.
A sad news that I can understand due to the low engagement. Do you have any other event plans? In any case, it has always been a great pleasure to participate and I thank you for having organized it each time in a masterly way.
Currently, I don't have any plans to do a new event. But I like to see some events integrated with Twitter to promote more about blurt platform. Still thinking of a better option for that.
I think that the event should continue because it is very important for the platform. regards
But the users aren't interested in the event anymore because every time we are getting only a few entries.

The power-up day is an initiative that unites all platforms similar to this one (Steem and Hive, for example). Abandoning it is not a good choice, in my opinion. I won't, but I understand sponsors may not be easy to find. There may be other solutions. Are you going to really not organize anything more about the BPUD, or do you have other initiatives in mind regarding it?
Sad to see it go well hope it comes back again some day :)
