Despite strong constitutional and legal support for women's rights, patriarchal values ​​have not yet established equal rights for women in our society. Every day countless women are being deprived of their human rights, the constitutional guarantees of the state are being violated and the disenfranchisement and helplessness of women is increasing.

Due to the lack of awareness of women's rights in our country and the practical limitations of the existing laws, women are deprived of the benefits of their just rights and access to legal aid, while the presence of discriminatory laws is making their situation more vulnerable. In order to create awareness of women's rights in this reality, The Hunger Project-Bangladesh educates women on women's rights and law through a continuous training process to stop all forms of violence against women including dowry, child marriage, domestic violence prevention and harassment.
