Hello!!! Welcome to my full-time mom journey, this week I suffered from this kind of sickness I was worried about my baby at first, PUPPP is an itchy rash it was started with just a small spot in my body I thought it was a regular redness but it was very very itchy, it was my first time to experience this, after my 2 children, that's why I never had an idea this will happen.
Itching I very hard to endure, so I had to search for some reliefs the ease it, I try everything I know and what is available in the house that I can use as a remedy.
Taking a bath can relieve for a while but when the night comes it doesn't really help at all. I try it two times, three-time but nothing is working, hot bath and cold bath never works, which makes me feel very worried.
After 2 to 3 days past I see that it was spreading rapidly all over my body, and the itchiness is still continuing to get worse, at this point it makes me seek and search for this kind of skin problem for the pregnant women, so I found the PUPPP, it happens in 1 of every pregnant woman, sadly I'm one of them.
It happens in the second or third trimester during the pregnancy and sometimes after, I use some moisturizer, baby powder, and some available products in our home, but it never stops It can make you feel relief for an hour or more but doesn't clear at all.
Conclusion, I'm ending up going to my ob-gyn, the ob-gyn recommended me to a dermatologist, if you experience this do not hesitate to consult to your doctor, now I am in medication, then I will blog soon, the experience and the treatment that my dermatologist give me.
Note: Don't use products that are not recommended by your doctor, especially when you're pregnant.
