Director, producer Mahesh Bhatt has filed a defamation suit against his nephew Sumit Sabharwal's ex-wife Lobina Lodh. Lobina brought various allegations against Mahesh in an Instagram video last Thursday. In that video, he made it clear that Mahesh Bhatt is a very influential and powerful person. He wants to harm me and my family.
It is unthinkable how many actors, directors and music directors he has ended his career in just one phone call. He turns on a phone and goes to work different people!
A defamation suit worth Tk 1 crore has been filed on behalf of Mahesh in the Bombay High Court in the wake of Lobina's statement. Earlier on Friday, 'Special Films' had warned Lobina on their behalf on behalf of Mahesh.
Incidentally, Lobina also made serious allegations against her ex-husband Sumit in the 1 minute 46 second video.
