Cuando me invitan a este tipo de retos, me siento muy contenta. Porque últimamente, Yo creo que me identifico mucho con este término "empoderar", puesto que desde muy niña, yo he tenido que aferrarme con fuerza a mis deseos y sueños. Algunas cosas no me han resultado fáciles, pero no he dejado de soñar, y de tratar de aprender en los momentos más difíciles, tratando de aprender y ser cada día una mejor persona, una mejor mujer.

Yo considero, que ser mujer siempre ha representado un reto, por los estereotipos y las creencias antiguas que aun existen en nuestras sociedades. Por eso, siempre yo me siento identificada con este tipo de temas.

Yo nací en un hogar humilde de un país hermoso. Yo soy una mujer morena, simpática y buena conversadora. Me decidí por estudiar ciencias, algo poco común en ese época y sencillamente me encanta, aunque actualmente, es un poco difícil hacer ciencia en mi país.

Definitivamente, lo que a mí, me empodera es tratar de dar lo mejor de mí para contribuir a mejorar la divulgación de conocimientos fuera de los espacios académicos.

Yo soy profesora y científica en el área de las ciencias ambientales, y cada día trato de conservar el ambiente.

Me gusta mucho dar clases, y compartir el conocimiento con otros , tratar de marcar la diferencia, hacer el trabajo lo mejor que pueda, sin buscar excusas. Pero tratando de ser feliz y vivir la vida con pasión, eso es lo que me empodera.

What empowers me?

When I'm invited to this kind of challenge, I feel very happy. Because lately, I think I identify a lot with this term "empowering", since I was a child, I have had to hold on tightly to my desires and dreams. Some things have not been easy for me, but I have not stopped dreaming and trying to learn in the most difficult moments, trying to learn and be a better person, a better woman every day.

I think that being a woman has always been a challenge, because of the stereotypes and old beliefs that still exist in our societies. That is why I always identify with this kind of issue.

I was born in a humble home in a beautiful country. I am a brown woman, nice and a good talker. I decided to study science, something unusual at the time and I simply love it, although nowadays, it is a little difficult to do science in my country.

Definitely, what empowers me is to try to give my best to contribute to improving the dissemination of knowledge outside the academic spaces.

I am a teacher and a scientist in the area of environmental sciences, and every day I try to preserve the environment.

I enjoy teaching, and sharing knowledge with others, trying to make a difference, doing the job the best I can, without looking for excuses. But trying to be happy and live life with passion, that's what empowers me.
