Empoderamiento, una visión personal // Empowering a personal vision

El tema de empoderamiento me gusta, porque no solo consiste en escribir sobre el poder, sino que desde mi punto de vista se refiere a un estilo de vida adquirido y aprendido.

Esta publicación está inspirada en la propuesta de @blurtwomen para escribir sobre el empoderamiento femenino y en esta oportunidad les contaré como aprendí desde niña entender sobre este tema, aunque no era identificado con este término, mi padre siempre me dijo, “aprende para seas una mujer independiente y logres tus propósitos por tu propio esfuerzo”.

Aquí inicia una corta historia, la vida me ha enseñado que el trabajo arduo y con disciplina da buenos resultados, que todo se puede lograr si todo lo que hacemos le imprimimos el mayor esfuerzo, que lo que no sabemos podemos aprenderlo, que los límites están en nuestra mente y entre muchas otras cosas, en este aprendizaje mi papá tiene mucho que ver, porque me preparó para la vida, y afrontar todo lo que pasara con voluntad, además de sacarle el lado positivo a toda situación.

Desde niña aprendí de mecánica, electricidad, reparar zapatos, herrería, a trabajar la tierra con mis propias manos, amar a la naturaleza y respetarla, aprendí también algo sobre autos, de mi madre la música, el tejido y la cocina entre muchas otras cosas, de mi padre aprendí también que no debo temer y que todo se puede lograr, de mi madre que siempre debo ser yo misma, que el respeto inicia con el ejemplo y que nunca, pero nunca acepte el maltrato por parte de ninguna persona, porque el valor de un ser humano inicia cuando uno mismo reconoce el propio valor que tiene. Por ello, amo lo que soy, me siento feliz con mi vida, agradezco todo lo que he tenido que pasar malo o bueno, además me faltan muchas otras cosas por hacer y aprender.

Con esta corta historia, siento que en mi vida siempre hubo dosis de empoderamiento, aunque para ese entonces yo lo reconocía como salir adelante y hacerle frente a la vida sin miedos y con mucha voluntad.

I like the theme of empowerment, because it is not only about writing about power, but from my point of view it refers to an acquired and learned lifestyle.

This publication is inspired by @blurtwomen proposal to write about female empowerment and this time I will tell you how I learned to understand this issue since I was a child, although I was not identified with this term, my father always told me, “learn to be a independent woman and achieve your purposes by your own effort ”.

Here begins a short story, life has taught me that hard work and discipline gives good results, that everything can be achieved if everything we do we put the best effort, that what we do not know we can learn, that the limits are In our mind and among many other things, my father has a lot to do with this learning, because he prepared me for life, and face everything that happens with will, in addition to taking the positive side out of every situation.

Since I was a child I learned about mechanics, electricity, repairing shoes, blacksmithing, working the land with my own hands, loving nature and respecting it, I also learned something about cars, music, weaving and cooking from my mother among many other things. From my father I also learned that I should not fear and that everything can be achieved, from my mother that I must always be myself, that respect begins with example and that I never, but never accept abuse from any person, because the value of a human being begins when oneself recognizes the own value that it has. For this reason, I love who I am, I feel happy with my life, I am grateful for everything I have had to go through bad or good, and I also have many other things to do and learn.

With this short story, I feel that in my life there was always a dose of empowerment, although by then I recognized it as getting ahead and facing life without fear and with great will.
