I am posting this on Yt because when I tried to upload on 3speak the encoding failed.
Over the years I've said my mom doesn't understand what it's like to be autistic. She doesn't like it when I say that. I wanted to say when I tell her this, I do it because I feel as though she thinks my autistic traits are something I am doing just to bug her. Like when I am having trouble understanding what she's telling me and I ask confirming questions, it's common for autistic folks to do so to better understand. I felt if my mom understood me, she would not act as if I do it just to bug her
