Chicken Cutlet

Hello friends,
Today will share you a famous snacks recipe "chicken cutlet". Cutlets were invented in late 19th century Japan.

Ingredients:-

  1. Chicken breasts- 500g.(finely minced).

  2. Onions- 2(finely chopped).

  3. Garlic- 1-1/2tsp(minced).

  4. Ginger-1-1/2tsp(minced).

  5. Green chilies- 2(finely chopped).

  6. Fennel seeds- 2tsp(coarsely pounded).

  7. Meat masala(spice)- 1tsp.

  8. Red Chili powder-1tsp.

  9. Turmeric powder- 1tsp.

  10. Mustard sauce(kasundi)- 1tbsp.

  11. Cilantro leaves- 1-1/2tbsp(finely chopped).

  12. Mint leaves- 1tbsp(finely chopped).

  13. Salt-To taste.

  14. Sunflower oil- For shallow Fry.

For coating:-

  1. Whole eggs- 2( beaten).

  2. Bread crumbs- 1cup.

Preparation Method:-

Step 1- Take a large bowl. Add minced chicken, finely chopped onions, Garlic,ginger,green chilies,salt, red chili powder,meat Masala, coarsely pounded fennel seeds, Turmeric powder, chopped cilantro, chopped mint, mustard sauce (kasundi). Combine all ingredients well with chicken mince.

Step 2- Divide the mixture of chicken into equal portion. Set aside.

Step 3- Take a little dip plate. Whisk the eggs. Set aside.

Step 4- Next take another plate and add bread crumbs. Set aside.

Step 5- Wet your plam with oil. Take a portion of chicken mince. Shape the chicken into cutlet. Now dip the chicken cutlet in the beaten egg mixture and then roll the cutlet over bread crumbs. Coated well.

Step 6- Place the cutlet on the chopping board and with the help of a spatula give the cutlet proper shape. Follow the same for remaining chicken mixture.

Step 7- Heat a skillet on low to medium flame. Add sunflower oil. Once oil will became hot ,place the crumb coated cutlet on the heated skillet. Cook each side until became browned and crispy. About 8-10 minutes.

Step 8- Now it's ready to serve hot with tomato ketchup,onion rings,sliced cucumber.
