Hyper Text Markup Language is the full form of HTML. HTML is the basic foundation of web design with which web pages are created. Whether you use CSS, JavaScript, JQuery or anything else to design web pages, you must use them via html.

HTML is not a programming language, it is a markup language that is the sum of many markup tags. In other words, each of these tags in HTML has a pre-determined specific function in an international or ideological way. Once the HTML code is loaded in the browser, these codes do their assigned work. That is, markup tags determine the position, display, etc. of the content on a web page. HTML tags tell the browser how to easily display any content.

Does html work?
HTML is used to create web pages, to format, design and outlook different content of web pages (such as text, images, etc.). Display in browsers (such as Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc.).

html document i.e. web page
Web browsers (such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.) read an html document and display it on the screen as a web page. The browser does not display html tags, but uses tags as a means of displaying content, such as images, text, etc. That is, an html document is a web page.

History of HTML
The first version of HTML, HTML 1.0, was written or created in 1993 by Tim Berners-Lee. Since then several more versions of the base have been created. However, the most widely circulated HTML version is HTML 4.01, released in 1999. And it's also an ideological version of HTML.

The first description of HTML that was open to the public was called "HTML Tags". Lee introduced it to everyone in 1991. It had 16 elements, which was actually the initial and comparative design of HTML.

All but the hyperlink tags were like SGMLguid, an internal Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML) based documentation from the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), Switzerland. Eleven of these tags exist in the current HTML 4.01.
