Remove Directories Using terminal ( # ubuntu terminal tutorial )

Let us see how can we remove directories using terminal in Ubuntu.
So we will be using the "rmdir" command to do this.

rmdir ----> remove directory.

Steps


Step 1 : Open Terminal first of all.

Step 2 : write the following comand. example : rmdir folder1.

Step 3 : Press Enter and the folder is gone.

That's all you need to do for removing empty directories.

We will see more of this command in coming lectures but for the basics thats all you need to know.
