Hello everyone , we have learn many commands so far that you all can write and do great things using.

But today i will teach all of you about a command that can tell us how much time any command takes to get execute.

So follow this tutorial to know about that command.

well the command is , "time" command.

Syntax


time followed by name of the command.
ex : time echo hello everyone , time cal , time date etc.

Steps :


Step 1 : Open the terminal.

Step 2 : write time followed by any other command name as done below.

Step 3 : Press Enter.

Step 4 : now we can see three option the option that says real , user and sys.

So real refers to the time taken for the command to execute and show us result and rest two are CPU time so you all can avoid that atm.
