Lasting peace can only come from GOD,not from friends, achievement or financial possessions.it doesn't matter how old you are or not,once you are not close to GOD,peace can't be available with you.The one way we can be happy and peaceful is by studying and obeying the doctrine of CHRIST in all that we do.
One thing we should know is that following the ways of GOD wont be all rosey but dont forget what was promised by GOD according to the book of 1 Corinthians 10 vs 13 .God wont let us be faced with what is bigger than us.
We can also see that after repentance and letting go of our old ways ,there will come a lasting peace that surpasses all understanding only GOD can make available for his children.
One reason why we all need to be in a constant and communicative relationship with GOD is because with GOD,all things are under control and peaceful.
Let the peace of GOD be in us from today,Amen!!
