This will be my first official post this year. I have been staying indoor since the beginning of December studying (html,Css and javascript).
I found out that as a developer one key to being fruitful is isolation, learning to stay alone in order to avoid too many distractions is the key to productivity.
Life shouldn't just be about making plans, it's about ensuring to make the right plans and set realistic goals.
This time last year (2021), I was still trying to figure out what to do with my life as my resignation was still fresh at that time. I blogged on hive, posting on the bible READERS community to at least make some income for feeding and all. I would never forget the role some people played in my life.
Despite having nothing at the beginning of 2021, I made a plan and also set goals for myself. One of my goals was that I was going to buy my first car before my 2021 birthday, my birthday is 21st of may, God so good, I was able to buy my first car on the 18th of may 2021.
Although i got attacked on hive and all my posts were receiving heavy downvotes. When I couldn't bear it, I had to speak to myself knowing that there is always a way out of crises.
Not too long after that, I received a call to work with an exchange as a Marchant, I played the Marchant role for some weeks after I stopped and began my own local exchange. Along the line my exchange grew to the point that transactions were huge to be handled manually.
Towards the end of the year, I returned to studying coding because i am graduate of computer science but I have never considered it as a career. But my goal now is to become sound at least in front end development before the end of the year 2021, which I achieved. I am also looking forward to helping to grow some other projects on steem, hive and blurt.
I have also fixed my wedding tor the 21st of may this year, 2022 which happens to be my birthday.
Year 2022 is already looking promising and I am already beginning to see great signs that the year will be far better than previous years, not only for me but for everyone. Just make sure you follow your plans consciously and do not forget what your plans are as the year goes.
It is easy for us to forget what we intended from the beginning when challenges of life surface, but let's keep our heads high and stay focused on the bigger picture.
