The earth is in pain!!!

• Maybe we are wrong.

• Maybe we are right.

Just maybe!!!

But how can we be right when others are suffering from our actions and inactions.

Mother earth has been fair to us but out of our own carelessness, all that we repaid was being bad to mother earth.

Take a moment and think.

• What if water stops flowing?
• What if you planted seeds and nothing came out?
• What if there is no night?
• What if the moon turn red?
• What if the ozone layer is not there to protect us from the direct sun?
• What if the earth stops all its function for us?

Hope you can realise that mother earth has been so good to us but what did we give in return to mother earth?

• We replied with emissions and sounds of wars.
• We place hatred at the center of our heart.
• After our farming, we still go ahead to burn the bushes and cause havoc to mother earth after giving us food and source of shelter.

Is this the best we can do?

But I am not among those that are burning bushes or causing damage to the ozone layer.

Our actions and inactions both affect the earth.

What is the best action?

The best action to me might not work for you and the best action for you might not be the best for me but one thing that could help us all is education.

Why education?

Fafunwa 1974 defines education as the aggregate of all the process through which a young adult or child develop the skills, abilities and attitudes which are of positive value to the society in which is live.

To complete this and give it a meaningful meaning.

Robert Kiyasoki said;

Change your thinking, change your life

• Do you even know that what you are doing affects mother earth?
• Do you have an idea of how your actions and inactions affect the world at large?

If you know and you are doing the right thing, how about your neighbours?

• Have you sensitize them on what they are doing that is wrong?
• Have you taken time to explain to them how their actions affect mother earth?

Education cannot be less important when channeled the right way. Education in its real sense is suppose to make us a good citizens not someone causing havoc.

If we all could have the interest of others at heart before doing things, maybe and just maybe, we will have a better place to live and merry.

That is not possible unless we change our thinking and change our life which is only possible through education.

Note that mother earth is speaking everyday but only those that listen carefully can hear its pain.
