Between the hare and the tortoise, which one will you choose?
If you've forgotten the story, let me quick remind you.
Long time ago, the hare happens to be one of the fastest animal while tortoise is the slowest animal. Though, tortoise still remain the slowest 🤣🤣🤣
One blessed day, tortoise challenged the hare for a duel in racing and jokingly, the hare agreed to have a race with tortoise.
On the agreed day, tortoise and hare started and at the count of 3, the hare sprint leaving the tortoise who is making steady moves.
After running for few minutes, the hare thought to himself, why should I keep running when I am sure that I have run much faster than the tortoise who will still be moving very slow so the hare decided to take a rest but slept off.
In contrary, the tortoise was moving and before the hare could know it, tortoise had already reached the finishing line.
Maybe the story is true, maybe it is formed but there are few things to learn from the story.
Lesson learnt
The hare can be likened to someone that is very aggressive in taking action but got tired or lack motivation to continue. It is not as if they will not reach the goal but they linger on the way after the initial move.
Maybe I am a perfect example of someone that can be regarded as hare. There is a particular course that I have been doing since 2019 but I've not completed it till date of which the course is suppose to last for 40hours maximum. 😢😢😢
The tortoise can also be likened to someone who take action immediately but takes longer period to achieve the goal nevertheless they remain focused and consistent with their little achievement at a time.
Which will you choose?
Now that you have an idea of what the hare and the tortoise is, which one will you choose?
The fast or the slow and steady?

As for me, both are needed to achieve extraordinary success, the speed of hare and the consistency of tortoise.
If you can combine both in any decision, you will be at an advantage.
Making decisions very fast might make you to jump on trends without getting prepared but will you rather wait for the entire traffic light to turn green before you start your car or will you continue the journey and wait when the traffic light is red?
Note that making decision and moving at a very fast pace is good but only if you can be consistent and focused.
Never stop until the goal is achieved!!!
