Code Lyoko is a cartoon I really enjoyed back then it aired on a channel Teletoon back then in strong receiver and the channel was removed later on. Code Lyoko aired between 2003 to 2007 and has 97 episodes which includes and ending. Though I think I watched around 2008.

I ranked it my no 1 best cartoon.
What can I say, as a child the whole story line intrigued me. It was captivating as it brought the idea of virtual reality and saving the world hero stuff. I fell in love with the characters especially. And the sweet opening theme song.

Plot Summary

Code Lyoko centers around some high school students one of which is Jeremy that found a super computer in an abandoned factory near the school. Since they turned it on that's when everything started as they discovered a girl Aelita in a virtual reality Lyoko threatened by a villain artificial intelligence program XANA that controls monsters and struggling to go out to the real world permanently.
XANA the computer program can temporarily come to the real world if he activates a tower in Lyoko which allows him to then possess things in the real world and cause chaos.
It's up to Jeremy, Odd, Ulrich and Yumi to stop XANA by entering Lyoko and helping Aelita deactivate the tower XANA activated to return him back to Lyoko
And use the energy generated to return a day to the past before the event of xana's escape. Goal is to stop XANA for good and bring Aelita to the real world.
Below is the picture of outlook the environment in Lyoko virtual reality. Mainly divided into five geolocations I.e ice, mountain, forest, desert sectors and lastly sector 5 respectively.

Character introduction

I will mainly be giving a summary
Here is a picture of them in their real world and virtual reality with their names respectively

(Note: I won't follow the order in the picture)

1.Aelita

She's first as everything starts from her and France Hopper the creator of Lyoko as she was trapped in Lyoko as a child till Jeremy turned back on the computer . She has the ability to create walls or the earth forming a shape or structure she wants . She later gains the ability to use energy balls and shields
She inspires me with her courageous and supportive spirit. Ready to face danger and always there for everyone.

2.Jeremy

He is the brains and the reason for the team formation. He turned on the supercomputer at first discovering Aelita
He doesn't have combat skills he is more like the central command of the team that monitors them and offers his help via the computer in the real world, he does not enter lyoko. Jeremi is smart and a computer wizard . That's the major thing I like about him. I like how confident he is in doing what he does best and how proficient he can be . It was inspiring.

3.Ulrich

My favourite assault team member as he wields his sword and his fancy bike with the ability to triplicate himself and on top has super speed. He is like the bad ass warrior. He can be hot headed sometimes and mainly what he offers is his friendship and dependability aside from his great combat skills. In combat am always excited to see his skills. He inspires me with his battle field tenacity and ability and dependability.

4.Yumi

The Japanese warrior and bad ass cool member of the time. She is the most dependable member and fights with a calm mind. She brings the boys to their senses in the group. She is fierce yet ever friendly and supports the members.
She wields two fan blades that when thrown too returns like a boomerang and a special ability to levitate objects and a flying scooter as a ride. She is very flexible and acrobatic.
She inspires me with her calmness in how she fights. Keeping her cool in a fight. Although not so much when it comes to love drama with Ulrich.

5.Odd

Well what can I say about this member
He is loved for being himself. The noisiest proactive member of the team. Odd is a child-like character, simple playful loves to have fun and jokes most of the time.
But when you need a Zoner in combat he is your best pic. He's got his flying skateboard and shoots lazer arrows out of his hands. Also has a cat body that gives him cat like abilities to even climb walls.
Odd is the less organized member of the team . But he inspires me with how he can be himself and always lightens the moment for everyone. You can't however mention Odd without his faithful partner dog kiwi.

Best moments in the show

My best moments in the show is when they go to Lyoko. As they enter the tower and Jeremy will be like " scanner odd, scanner Ulrich , scanner Yumi, transfer Odd, transfer Ulrich , Transfer Yumi, Virtualization"
This set of commands he verbally says as he does them and the tower animation Ulrich.
Never gets old. Other best moments is their monster fights and deactivating tower just when XANA is about to do something really harmful to the members in the real world.

Worse moments or sad moments

Well not wanting to give spoilers but I would say sad moment is the France Hopper part .The situation in which the creator of the program is in where he can't be of much direct assistance.

Conclusion

Code lyoko captivates my love for a fantasy virtual series . I loved things technological fantasy heroic. And loved inventing at that age so the thought of making such a computer program burst my mind back then.
It's a show I can still pic up on YouTube and watch even now
Honestly this show made my day back then even when I draw or make imaginary stories later on , I would borrow some of their attributes like Odds hairstyle. How could I forget to highlight that.
Daily life in school while struggling to save the world from danger in secret at the same time was captivated well in the movie . What I like most about it. It's practicality with their lives as students too.

It's a good show to pick up.
I employ you to watch it now.
Code lyoko on YouTube.
