Why Living a Life of Gratitude Makes You Happy

It seems to me that one thing that unites all humans is our constant want for more, regardless of what or how much we already have. It's as like we're always trying to find that "one thing" that will fulfill us completely.

Because of this, we frequently struggle to find happiness because we believe that there is never enough and that we must always be running. We are chasing an illusion, which makes this a depressing state of affairs.

The key to making life easier and simpler would be to recognize the worth of the things and people we already have. Our tendency to take things for granted is another characteristic of humanity.

It is my belief that the world needs people to live lives filled with gratitude since happiness is something that can only be achieved by taking a minute to acknowledge that we already have the majority of what we require in life.

You may not feel like you have a lot at any particular time. You will be happily pleased to discover that you have a plethora of things and people in your life for which to be grateful when you really sit down and begin compiling a list.

Practicing thankfulness for these things also makes us happier since it allows us to acknowledge that we already have what other people only dream of and lead lives that most people would die to enjoy!

Your mind isn't racing with all these thoughts and feelings at that precise instant, which is kind of uplifting and puts you in a wonderful, calm state of mind. You realize that enough is enough for once.

Happiness comes from this fulfillment, and if we can adopt thankfulness as a way of life, we can all live far happier lives than we do now. Of course, this does not imply that life will be without difficulties. But what would a life be without difficulties?
