Never let anyone tell you otherwise. Dream big.

I've made it clear that I don't like skeptics and those who would rather maintain the status quo than embrace change or take chances.

You see, I've always had big dreams. Someone who enjoys setting lofty goals and working toward them, despite the excruciatingly slow progress and numerous obstacles along the way.

In addition, I am a blind optimist who thinks that, as long as you stick to your principles, hard effort does pay off. Yes, that has occasionally backfired on me, but not very often.

These days, it seems that people are afraid of failing and would happily sidestep a problem if they could. They would much prefer stick to the safer, more familiar waters than pursue their dreams and try something new. That's what irritates me.

The thing that irritates me the most among doubters is that they don't want to take responsibility for their actions or let others take them. Put another way, they would like to spend their entire lives in the comfort zone of familiarity, watching others follow in their footsteps.

The world does not operate that way. That isn't how we operate. Humans are naturally curious creatures. It is we who are the pioneers, the researchers, and the creators. The evidence for this is the modern civilization.

All of this is the result of millions of people throughout history realizing their lofty dreams and bringing their ideas to life, which benefited the entire race. All of those eventually became woven into the fabric of our civilization, one by one.

Now, I'm not arguing that pursuing your goals and succeeding in them must alter the course of history. I'm trying to stress that you shouldn't be scared to have huge dreams and that you shouldn't let anyone tell you otherwise, not even for a split second. All of that is noise! Disregard it.

Consider yourself trapped in a pitch-black tunnel with only your point of freedom—a distant light—visible. You would exert every effort to see that bright spot at the end of the road, is I correct?

That's how I think a dream ought to be. It should be something you would do anything to attain and something that offers you hope for a fulfilled and happy life.
