Good morning beautiful people 🥰😊
It's a cool morning from my side as it rained very early this morning, so the weather is kind of cold and warm at the same time because I think the sun is also trying to surface 🥰.
Just like @obikay said, try to be consistent...hehehehe...I still try to imagine how some of you do that posting everyday...well, am still new here, maybe with time I will understand better. This morning I want to talk about the "GIRL CHILD"...yea...what's wrong with the title 🤣🤣.
Praying for your girls and teaching them to become what society considers to be "only men's duty" are both good ideas.
You are your own "YOU" and no one is better than you in any manner; it's only that your low attitude has given you the impulse to seek "LESSER" for yourself. I would never pray for any of my children to settle for less since it is their responsibility to pursue goals that are too great for them to manage.
When you advise your daughter to make sure she marries someone who is wealthier than her or, better yet, when you pray for her to marry a president or governor, you are also killing the spirit of "DEFENCE" in her. She will afterwards turn into someone else's property and cease to be her own kind of person.
Because of the way that society thinks, I will never advise any of my kids to accept less. Fasting and pleading for your daughters to marry a governor or a president is akin to pleading with them to settle for anything less, which is in no way the responsibility of good parents.
If my daughter ends up being the smartest and most decent girl in her class, but because she is a girl, they put her in a lower position and give the opposite sex a higher position—not because he deserves it, but because of those two things dangling over his two legs—I'd make sure she rejects that position, and nothing, not even their justifications, can make me change my mind.
It's not like "1930" here where you could not think it matters what gender a woman is.
I stand up for my rights whenever necessary, regardless of what others may think. I do it because I believe it is my RIGHT and should never be denied. My daughters will rise and become far better than I am if I raise them in the same manner as I have lived my own life. But no way! You might wish to advise them not to ride a car because it appears to be one of the reasons MOST girls are not married, or that they should bow to men so that marriage won't be far away.
At 25, you notice a woman driving a car and learn that she owns a home, so you decide to inquire, "Is she married?" The majority of you do it in an effort to demoralize someone who has dedicated her life to working nonstop and achieving her goals. If getting a man through marriage means becoming submissive, I doubt I'd be interested. (Try to understand my point here)
Men don't believe that being wealthy deters women from marrying them; in fact, women rush to marry wealthy men because they have been taught since childhood that they won't succeed if they don't marry wealthy men, rather than the society teaching women how to become financially independent.
A wealthy woman is single, so why aren't they married? the African man will be wondering. as a result of the lessons you gave your male children about her ability to control him and seize his assets. Hahahahaha🤣🤣
My daughters will learn that her brother and she are equals, and I'll make sure of it. As vital as the male gender is the female gender. No course is solely for men; if you are passionate about it and give it your all, you can succeed. Only if you put your mind to it and ignore what society has to say about it will you be able to become that thing. We have many female leaders in this country, so all that is left for you to do is stand up straight and run for the president you desire without being misled.
You know, this culture of treating women as less important than men is especially prevalent in Igbo tribe. In order to have a male child and inherit their possessions as though women are incapable of managing their properties, they have multiple wives in order to make them pregnant. Well, all I'm trying to say is that the female gender matters too.
Big thanks love @obikay for the guidance and mentorship so far and to everyone who welcomed me here with lots of votes, I say thank you..I appreciate.
Have a lovely weekend 🥰🥰
