Stories and how they affect kids

I've always been curious about children's literature and the actual impact it has on young readers. A lot of us are familiar with some of the old tales. Later, after we were older, we read on our own. I could read with ease when I got to school.

I read anything I could get my hands on and developed a complete obsession with reading. The best way to discipline me for something I did wrong was to take away my book since it was so horrible that I didn't want to do anything else. However, I always had another one tucked away somewhere.

Certain stories I've read have had such a lasting impression on me that I will never forget them. It's funny how our minds function; similar to childhood tunes, these stories are all stashed away in a hidden folder somewhere deep inside my memory.
Even though I read a lot of terrifying stories, I wasn't scared by any of them. A valuable life lesson was always tucked inside in between the scary sections. I believe that stories are an excellent way to introduce kids to the good and bad in life. They ought to be aware that evil can be found around every corner. They will become more well-rounded adults if they are taught what to look for from an early age. Kids need to understand that life isn't just about happy endings.

You wouldn't believe how many parents voiced their complaints about Harry Potter, then. In fact, some parents were so adamant about not buying the book because they thought it was "EVIL"

I couldn't help but chuckle because these same youngsters regularly play video games on their X-box or PlayStation and are exposed to far more wickedness on television. How could one book negatively impact you? Perhaps the complete opposite of good and evil in a single book is just what humanity needs right now. Maybe we ought to write more novels that have happy endings? Children may simply require more happy endings because they are exposed to evil on a daily basis. They must realize that goodness still exists in the world.

Greetings😊
