Dear God, I am grateful that I am here.
I enjoy an abundant life and rule over all other animals since I was made in your likeness.

I give thanks to the Lord for his love and his desire for the best for me.
Your lone son was abandoned to die on the cross because you value me so much.

Lord, I appreciate your solace.
To support me consistently during all of my hardships and struggles
A soft voice offering consolation and encouragement

Thank you, Lord, for your protection.
You have protected me from injury and danger.
You really are my bulwark and guardian.
The one person I can really rely on

Thank you, Lord, for my family and all the individuals in my life who care about and love me.
For everyone who has offered assistance and made it easier for me to move on

Thank you, Lord, for everything I have—my career, my belongings, and my money. You have truly blessed my life with opportunities that allow me to reach my greatest potential.

Concerning This Poetry
We have a tendency to forget that God is the source of all of our blessings. When things in our life are going well, we frequently forget to express our gratitude to God. On the other hand, we frequently complain to God and ask for His help to put things right when they go wrong. I'm reminded by this poem to never take the Lord for granted and to give Him thanks every time something goes right.
