There is a saying that goes "an apple a day, keeps the doctor away". This simply means eating fruit regularly keeps the body system healthy and free from illnesses.
Having tasted variety of fruits, I would say my best and favourite are bananas.
Growing up in the eastern part of Nigeria, Imo state precisely, my village is known for their good yeild in banana and plantains farming. *Have you heard about bananas junction in orlu?. The name was given to that particular area because of the famous trade of bananas within that area. Growing up there gave me full access to have free bananas, this made me love the fruits and saw it as something I wouldn't lack because bananas were excess around there.
As I stated earlier, I saw bananas as a fruit which I wouldn't lack. But thing usually change, I got admitted to the university in another state. Bananas which I once had and loved became something I which I could eat sometimes.
Due to the high cost of the fruits, I really eat them at school. Sometimes I go to the street around and get some bananas, I usually enjoy them with some groundnut.
