It's a pledge I made a few days ago to have fun throughout this DreemPort Challenge. How it works is that you accept the responsibility that comes from making the pledge and then, you will be able to enjoy the benefits.

How nice is that?

By responsibilities, the tasks are quite simple.

Below is a rundown of how I did mine for the first week of this challenge;


5 min meditation/breathing/prayer.

This is quite tricky in the sense that everyone has to do it on their own without any sort of supervision. Just for 5 minutes - you can close your eyes, count the stars and 5 minutes is over. Hehe. But, I didn't think of that when I decided to be part of this challenge.

From the initial stage, I made up my mind to be serious about it and I'm glad that I did. I enjoyed the 5 minutes (I probably did more some days) meditation from Monday to Friday. It pretty much helped in stress relief. Based on the impact of this, I'm prepared to carry on with this exercise even after the challenge.


32 Oz. of water for week 1

The only tough part of this is to convert the water measurement from ounce (Oz.) to centilitre (cl) because the water I take over here is standardly packaged as 50cl for each sachet. Doing the maths was simple. Like every other thing in this internet generation, it was barely a matter to 'type, submit and get feedback' from google.

Turns out that 32 Oz. is approximately 2 sachets of water and I have been taking an average of 7 sachets daily. Hehe. That's a pass for me. On to the next one.


20 min physical activity

You know what is expected here. Right? Let's say, this is the best time to practice Muay Thai or raise your status from a yellow belt holder to a black belt holder. Stuff like that. Hehe. Better believe it.

Man, I did a whole lot of physical activity this week. I even got a merciless beating by rainfall this evening while I was on my way back from one of my physical activities. I need to dust off my Actifit App next week. It will be useful in keeping track of my activity level for every 20 minutes of my physical activity.


15 minutes towards a personal goal

The way I planned this is to have my long term goal which I may not be vocal about and then some weekly goals which I won't mind talking about for each week. One of those goals I have for this week is to participate in a contest. Any contest. Hehe.

I don't say this often, but I'm very picky about contests. I don't like getting into contests or challenges or stuff like that. Yet, I tell people that it's good to be involved with contests and I mean it when I say it. Haha.

What a hypocri...Nah! I'm not saying that to myself. I have my reasons. Hehe.

Long story short, writing this post is already a good sign because this is a contest although I take it as my contest since my online activities are built around Dreemport. This challenge whetted my appetite for more challenge. Hehe.

So, I had to do some research about nice contests. Thankfully, I found an interesting topic in Pob-wow. I played rock-paper-scissors with my shadow, won the game and decided to join the contest 😂.

I successfully published an entry in the early hours of this day. That is my very first Pob-wow entry. I hope to get into more contests. Maybe, once per week or...🤔


Write posts and submit to DreemPort

This had to be fun - Very fun. As staff, we always do our stuff behind the scene in DreemPort and we love it. Now, an opportunity came for us to also put up our posts for the viewing pleasure of Dreemers. I will enjoy doing it whenever I have a post to highlight. Hehe.

I got to submit two posts from my account during the week and 1 post from a project I'm running on here. This post would have to be the one I will submit today being Friday.

The odd one is for the day I failed to submit a post to Dreemport. I would have just dropped a sports post I wrote, but I didn't want to bore y'all with my fanatic Liverpool ramble 😂. You see, I'm just being a good lad.

This week was a good one though. I pledged to have fun and I did. C'ya in the second week of this challenge. Hehe.
