Early does it

in blurttribe •  2 years ago

I once asked a friend how he finishes tasks often and still has some spare time to do some extra things. I asked because he tends to always complete tasks on time while still being productive in other areas of his life, and his simple answer was that early does it for him. This sounded strange to me then, so I asked him to explain further. All he said was try sleeping early today and tell me how you feel the next day. I did sleep early, and the result was outstanding.

When I say early does it, it encompasses many things in one and goes beyond just going to bed early. By being early, One has a lot of time to plan and execute one plan for the day properly. Take, for instance; I have a 9 am meeting tomorrow. I went to bed at 9 pm the previous day. There is a big chance that I will wake up the next day by 5 am to appropriately plan how the meeting will go and also note some to-do things for the meeting. Alongside that, I could prepare for the meeting by 9 am.

Being early should be applied to all spheres of one's personal and professional life. When given a task at the office, start working on the task as soon as possible. Do not procrastinate and take the tasks at hand with fun. The good news is that the earlier you start, the earlier you end the task. This also gives one enough room to reassess the work and fix the mistakes properly. Being early to work gives you the freedom to settle down quickly and have a more productive day at work.

Even in your personal life, Being early to an event to a gathering makes one settled and makes one attribute respect to someone's personality. For me, early does it.

This is very true because I also noticed when I start my task very early during the day, I finish up before evening and I would still have time for other things but sometimes, procrastination due to laziness takes over. But we can work it out if we want to achieve a great result.
