I had plan to retire to bed early yesterday due to how stressed by body was, but when I returned from salon in the evening, I met customers waiting for me with a 'wash & wear' urgent work.
Due to the fact that I'm hunting badly for money, not considering the stress I'll go through attending to the work(clothes), I obliged and collected the work, and that made me to stay outside till 11:00pm., waiting for the clothe to get dried by breeze(no sun).
I had to enter inside when the dizziness became much, I couldn't just help it.
I didn't just waste time before launching into dreamland immediately I entered bed...
From my dreamland, all I heard suddenly was "Gboa! gboa! gboa!"(loud gun shots). I jumped off my bed and laid on the floor to prevent "flying bullets' from touching me...yes, I got the skill from movies.
People that came to the lounge close to my house started running 'kitikiti'(helterskelter) beside my window, and the Lounge went down... everywhere became totally dark(they turned off power).
Still on the floor, I remembered that my window was not locked, so I crawled to reach out to the window to close it and as soon as I was about to flip the window, two shots got released again. Haaa! I left the window unlocked and got pinned to the ground. Then a lot of thoughts began to run through my mind;
"What if the bullets hit the wall and get penetrated to the room?"
"Guy, your window is a glass window and glass can not withstand stone, not to talk of bullet, go and close your window"
Jeeez! I summoned courage, got up and closed the window even though it's glass, at least, the glass blockage would reduce the force of the bullet when it passes and I might be able to catch the bullet...the way it's done in India movies.
Then I crawled to the toilet, to make it almost impossible for the bullet to hit me incase it penetrates. There's no way it can penetrate through two block walls and still be forceful. Naaah! Even if it tries, I'm very sure the force left in it will not be able to puncture a blown balloon.
That's how I stayed inside the toilet for about 30mins untill the noise from outside died. All through this moment, my phone was on top of my bed. If I were with phone, I would have gone live..to get followers
As a I strong guy I am, I should have gone outside to check what's happening and probably chase the armed robbers away if it was a robbery situation, but that 'strong guy' braveness left me when the first set of bullets were released.
After like 1hr I went back to bed and quickly reached out to my phone, I checked time and it was 1:00am.
"Mtchwwwwwww!" I hissed because my sleep schedule has been disrupted.
While still on bed trying to catch the 'running' sleep, then sounds of fast moving vehicles began to play from the road. I was still trying to figure out what was going on... maybe they're shooting Fast & Furious season 12 in my street, then gun sounds started raining again.
No two ways about it, I jumped down from the bed and laid flat on the floor and that's how I spent the remaining part of the night.
At this particular moment, I began to regret why I rented a house that's situated in such area.
I Concluded that it was police chasing and releasing fire on armed robbers, but was that the case?
When it was dawn, I was hoping to get full info from neighbors but nobody seems to know what happened.
