The faked real cry

Greetings People!🙌

I've really missed the cracking and bantering in this Community. I've been chasing money real hard in the real world, trying to meet up with Elon Musk's networth 🥱

There are some videos I frowns at each time I come across them on social media and the only question that comes to mind is, "how did we get to the stage?

I know that we are in an era where people are doing anything possible to get views and likes on contents, especially on vlogging platforms, but a lot of things are uncalled for.

Let's take a look at some of these instances

The ones that stage a real cry.

Let's say a top celebrity died and left his or her fans in mourning mood. You'll start seeing videos of people trending on social media in their crying mood. I mean real tears.

I can't even comprehend it!

Wait, I don't mean the crying on the burial day because, of course, cameras would be available on the event ground to cover the event(covering everyone) but the one I'm referring to is when a well-matured person will be sitting in front of a camera and be sharing crocodile tears.

I've been imagining how they would tell their videographer to come on board to work on a crying video.
Like;

"Okay, come and video me, I want to cry"

And the Videographer will set his tools and say, "Action! Start crying"

Okay, you might say that these are done by young fellows (slay queens) who are trying to get huge followers, but I'm telling you that mature people are into this, or haven't you seen?

We saw this act on a rampant count last year when one Mrs. Ada Umeh(the mama in The Johnson's series) died. All her friends turned the morning into a crying challenge...crying videos were flying everywhere.

Okay, the worst comes to play when the person is covering herself(ladies 💯) with the selfie camera, wtf!
Grieving on camera, how possible is that?

Everyone in my country is into acting because faking a real cry before a camera is a mind-blowing talent. That's what made Chinwe Owoh bagged many awards....you should know this mama with her crying talents.

I remember when I once tried to join a crying challenge on WhatsApp, and while covering myself with a selfie camera, it was all laughing galore. Like I couldn't stand it. I would start with all seriousness and before I know it, I'm already laughing at myself.

Give it a try be see

This kind of video is very rampant in Nigeria too, and one would find it hard to detect if the content of the video is real or fake because it'll appear so real.

Yes, I've seen some real cases of ladies that got impregnated, the irresponsible boyfriends dumped them and ran away, and they filmed their crying scenes and posted it on Twitter for people to help out...as if they didn't get wooed by responsible guys on their ways going to meet the irresponsible guys.

Funny enough, twitter people always help out with finance in such cases.
Did I just shared a money making idea for ladies just now?🙄

Before I drop my keyboard, take a look at this;

Nigerians here are very familiar with this case, but for the sake of non-Nigerians, let me break it down.

There was Mr. Aguba, an old Nollywood actor, whose "one of the nuts on his head got loosened"(he was insane). A celebrity pastor heard about the issue and decided to foot all necessary bills for Mr. Aguba to come back to his senses, which worked out perfectly well.

This pastor saw that Mr. Aguba needed to settle down, but because of his ugliness, poverty and old age, no lady was ready to settle down with him. So the pastor publicly offered a huge sum of money and declared that any lady who's interested in marrying Mr. Aguba should indicate and she would not just marry him but also live with him in the same house.

We thought that no lady would agree to marry the ugly, slightly insane man, but we all got surprised when a lady indicated interest. She didn't just stop there; she made carrying videos, circulate everywhere, pouring out her heart and tears, confessing her love for Aguba. Guys, it was real tears on camera. can you imagine that!

I would have shared a clip of the video here but I don't know if such is permitted.

As for me, no matter matter the quality of the video, if someone is intentionally crying on a camera to display his or her pain, that person is not pained at all.🙅🏻‍♂️
