How my Christmas was and how I would be spending the first week of the new year

So, this is me participating in the contest to share how my Christmas was and my plans for the first week of 2022. Keep reading!

Meet Santa Chiomy

Basically, I spent Christmas day with my family. I had been away for about a month in the North at the NYSC Orientation Camp so I needed to spend time with my family at home.

I stayed at home all through catching up with my younger brother and on the 25th of December, I made a big pot of Fried rice with coleslaw for my family.

It was my first time cooking such amount of rice and I was really scared about its tastiness. Well, it came out nice. I also made stew, afang soup, and yam and pepper soup. I finished cooking at 12pm and after that, I slept and chatted for the rest of the day. In the days following, it's been me cooking, eating and sleeping.

Right now (as of the time I'm making this post), I'm preparing to go to church for the crossover service. I'm really optimistic for the new year.

In the new year, I'll be relocating to Kano state for the mandatory one year service with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). I know that it may not really be an easy time settling into a new city but I pray that God helps me.

For now, these are just my few plans...
