How do you plan to go about this year? Is it going to be just another 365 days of complaining and wishing for change? Or do you have plans to do it differently?
There is so much to accomplish but there is also so much you need to do. When you desire to make progress there are certain things you must embrace. And one of them is INTENTIONALITY.
You can't be chasing everything that looks like success. What is success for you? Chase things with a purpose and not just for the sake of being part of what they call "people that have doings." Let what you are doing be directed by a sense of purpose.
As much as you want to end the year 2022 in a grand style, you have to stay committed to all the things you wrote and said you will do. Yes, the year is still early and you are probably getting a lot of encouragement right now.
What will be happening in the 6th, 10th months? Will, you still be as energized as you are today? When there is no more encouragement coming in and the world seems like it coming down on you.
Be like Noah who went to work daily building the ark for 120 years even when there was no sign of the flood that God told him about. What did you think was going on in his mind for 43,800 days building with no encouragement. Do you have any idea of the number of people that told him he was wasting his time? What about those that mocked him.
The point here is to stay with the vibe you started the year with. I won't lie to you, it is usually difficult sometimes to keep up a smiling face and not give up the spirit when everything around you is saying otherwise.
Be intentional about achieving that goal. Stay committed to it. Trust your creator to direct you every step of the way. When you are tired draw from his well that never runs dry. Stay with him. Trust him. And you will be fine all through the year.
Have you made your new year resolution?
