Would you say that the times we live in are demanding? We are undoubtedly a mobile group. We hardly ever have time between one appointment and the next meeting to reflect on what has just occurred since we must concentrate on what is about to happen. It's no wonder we feel out of shape and out of breath when we take into account the upkeep of everything around us, including our homes, automobiles, neighbors, and jobs (just to name a few).
So, I would like to warn my friends. Be on the lookout so that you might live the true life that Jesus desires for you, not just a surface life that is consumed by the demands of the next calendar event and the next and the next.
Our hearts are being drained dry by various factors, including overscheduling. Do you think it's uncommon that we find it difficult to focus on the now because we are preoccupied with the past and the future? I don't mean to sound as if the last two are unimportant. The warning is intended to slow down your rushed speed-traffic so that you don't accidentally miss the grandeur of His wonder right now.
Hence, I would advise you to maybe advance in a crucial area. Don't start the day's tasks and miracles without first talking to Father about your appreciation and gratitude for His very existence. A person who doesn't receive appreciation is headed for emptiness. But a person who is full of praise knows abundance every minute.
God must be embraced by the entire world. Let Him to expand you beyond your clocks and calendars and marvel at the wonder of it. Look the person in the eye. Observe what they say. So that you can see and hear in even the most basic settings, don't rush past the grandeur of the moment. What a fun combination of qualities to have!
