I am able to recognize when my joyful expression starts to fade. My smile is turned upside down when I forget to thank God. But regardless of the circumstance, I am overcome with the joy of the Lord when I remember to express appreciation to my heavenly Father. I am happy because of prayerful gratitude. I recently had a challenge at work that I couldn't handle. I lost the chance to pray and instead went into "solve the problem" mindset. I took a moment after a stressful and anxious day to give thanks to God for His history of faithfulness. Happiness returned. Jesus offered me a remedy.
The Apostle Paul endured more than his fair share of hardships, including being imprisoned for his religion, being shipwrecked while on a mission, and suffering from chronic agony due to medical conditions. However, he cautions both himself and his readers to always express thankfulness in their prayers because doing so brings joy. He concludes the verse by exclaiming that this way of thinking is God's will for us in Christ Jesus. The Lord's plan is not quite evident in some areas, but it is obvious that God wants His children to live lives of constant prayer, thanksgiving, and joy. Our gladness is found in Christ Jesus.
Do you give thanks or do you ask for blessings? One of the ways the adversary catches you is by convincing you to ignore the blessings the Lord has already bestowed upon you and fixate instead on what He still has to do. Before He works out an opportunity, the Spirit occasionally needs to carry out a deeper job in your heart. You might not be able to manage the blessing in a way that honors Christ if you obtain what you are so insistent on now. As a result, keep praying to God in thanksgiving. So that the Spirit might subdue your spirit with truth, rejoice in His strength. Waiting brings happiness.
A humble attitude of gratitude focuses on how we might be of service to others. Perhaps we look after a friend's kid for a day so they can engage in adult conversation with their neighborhood. Or, since we were fortunate enough to have mentors, we might inspire and enlighten others. In the name of Jesus, we serve others out of gratitude to God. We gain the pleasure of giving in the process. Joy cannot be purchased; rather, it is created through our grateful prayers and selfless deeds. For the will of the Lord, look no farther. Our thankful prayers fill us with delight in Christ, so we can also share in Christ's joy!

Tomé un momento después de un día estresante y ansioso para dar gracias a Dios por su historia de fidelidad. Volvió la alegría. Jesús me ofreció un remedio.

Antes de que Él desarrolle una oportunidad, el Espíritu ocasionalmente necesita llevar a cabo un trabajo más profundo en su corazón. Es posible que no pueda administrar la bendición de una manera que honre a Cristo si obtiene lo que tanto insiste ahora. Como resultado, siga orando a Dios en acción de gracias. Para que el Espíritu pueda subyugar vuestro espíritu con la verdad, regocijaos en Su fuerza. Esperar trae felicidad.
Una actitud humilde de gratitud se enfoca en cómo podemos servir a los demás. Tal vez cuidemos al hijo de un amigo por un día para que pueda entablar una conversación adulta con su vecindario. O, dado que tuvimos la suerte de tener mentores, podemos inspirar e iluminar a otros. En el nombre de Jesús, servimos a los demás en agradecimiento a Dios. Ganamos el placer de dar en el proceso. La alegría no se puede comprar; más bien, se crea a través de nuestras oraciones agradecidas y obras desinteresadas. Por la voluntad del Señor, no busques más. ¡Nuestras oraciones de agradecimiento nos llenan de deleite en Cristo, para que también podamos compartir el gozo de Cristo!
