HAS "BORN-AGAIN" AS A TERM DIED AGAIN?

I'm not sure if important Christian terms are hidden or sabotaged. In any case, a lot of what had initial meaning has been reduced to slogans that are repeated but lose their significance. This may be the case with "born-again," which may have been appropriated by haphazard and meager religiosity.

One of the most exciting ideas in human history is the idea of being born again. Its powerful existence needs to be preserved. As an evident fact, everyone is born just once. This is unavoidable. All born-oncers would concur that life is a struggle against the harsh realities. Inner conflicts are not arbitrary. And they are not timid. Instead, hardship is exacerbated to the point where we occasionally question our ability to continue.

God knew about this problem. Satan ruined the sight in the Garden. He changed astonishment into wander in a commanding manner. Since then, man has been looking for the Promised Land—a means of escape that would lead to a return to a state of optimism, joy, and unadulterated riches. Jesus was sent directly into this pit of death with the express intention of changing the same path into a fresh, powerful wind of eternal life.

Because of this, Jesus began his mission by urging both men and women to be born again, thereby beginning anew. Life can be restarted for us. We have the ability to start over in life, which is the miracle of all wonders. Similar to how the child is born through the waters of the womb, the second life begins through the waters of baptism.

Jesus urges each person to experience a new birth. This is not a demand to be overtly religious. Instead, it is a summons to do what everyone wishes they could do—leave behind this life of death and enter one where possibility and potential are realities of hope and happiness.

There are many factors involved in this fact, all of which will serve to lift our spirits over the years. For the time being, I want to emphasize that death always has the last word when a child is born. Fortunately, death dies from the second birth. It cannot possess us. It will hurt us, but it is not entitled to keep us. Death fell into sadness once Jesus rose from the dead because it no longer had that eternal bite.

Jesus, rejoice at your empty tomb! Thank you for allowing us to choose to be reborn. As the phrase's original meaning was the complete opposite—always life—we must not let it pass away.
