The more I travel through this journey we call life, the more I encounter its mixture of easy and difficult passages, its curves and highways, and all the unforeseen circumstances that materialize out of nowhere like a tiger lurking in the underbrush.

Everyone must go through this, and it is what makes us into the better, smarter people that we are. We acquire perspective via experiencing both the good and the terrible, and seeing the wider view is always crucial when making decisions about anything.

Making decisions is what life is all about, and the more perspective and clarity we possess, the better decisions we are able to make. Sometimes things have the power to drastically alter someone's life for the better or worse, and we are left to deal with the fallout.

One thing is certain, despite the fact that we take pride in our ability to reason and think for ourselves. Whenever we make judgments, we frequently disregard reason and follow our emotions instead of using reasoning. This is something we should be aware of.

I'm not arguing that making decisions based on feelings is always a bad thing. Our moral compass and emotions should, most of the time, dictate how we behave. However, there is a significant drawback to making judgments based on emotions.

Everybody knows that life may turn on a dime at any time, leaving you feeling as though the floor has been taken out from under you. We frequently make snap decisions in these kinds of circumstances because we're anxious to get over our feelings of overwhelm, fear, contempt, or sadness. Nobody wants to spend a lot of time in such an emotional condition.

But we frequently make mistakes because we are in a rush to clear the mess. Only in retrospect do we see how crucial it is to exercise patience in these kinds of circumstances and deal with the curveballs with reason and intellect. We eventually have to face the hard reality that our hearts frequently make things worse when they could be easily resolved with our minds.

Throughout my life, I've discovered that you should step back and take a deep breath when life hands you lemons. Examine everything in great detail and mentally model several courses of action. Even if it will take longer, you will eventually find the right course of action. Our minds allow us to think. It seems like we ought to use it!

Happy Weekend 😊
