There are some days when you will make a different plan but will end up doing another thing entirely.
For me, today is one of those days.
As at January, my phone disturbed me that I nearly throw it away. You know what I mean when your phone is the one dictating when you will be active and when you will not.
In a day, the phone can hang for up to 3 times but the one that happened on the 7th of January was the peak of it. The phone refused to work for 3 days straight. I cannot explained how I felt that day. I was out of this world. Maybe in Mars 😁😁😁
When it finally worked, all my plan was to get another one immediately as I pull all Crypto assets together and keep it as hive hoping that the price will increase for a while so that I can sell off and get a new one. Atleast, something that I can manage for now.
The story changed and the market dipped. The dip even become deeper 😂😂😂
I had to watch Hive come down from $2+ to $0.75. No principalities and power can force me to sell at that price.
Maybe that was a joke.
Today's adventure
When I said the last statement was a joke. The reality of it was what happened today.
After my CDS today, I had a meeting with my students and we did Hypothesis testing (T-test Analysis) using R. It was a great moment with them because I missed the previous class with them.
Nothing beats the joy of teaching other people what you know.
After the class, I was already feeling hungry. In fact, I was hungry because I've not eaten anything since morning and the time was around 16:30 GMT +1.
Knowing fully well that the amount with me can only take me home, I decided to go home and think of how to get money rather than using the money to eat and trek home. 😂😂😂
That's what I called best option. ✔️✔️✔️
Getting home, I thought of how I can raise money to feed the worms in my stomach but nothing came up so finally I had to sell part of my hive which I was keeping for phone. 😭😭😭
It's a bitter sweet experience for me because I did not want to sell my hive below $2.5 but I had no other choice than to sell.
I am still holding little hive but hopefully, I will work extra hard to earn more money so that I can get the phone as soon as possible.
The phone is important but surviving today is a priority.
Take home
Breaking your savings or investment is not an ideal option at any time but when it comes to survival, always remember that, it is only those that are alive that can save and earn nevertheless be disciplined when it comes to finance.
It's a walk right. Yeah I know but I think my experience today might help you and moreover, I feel relieved writing this article.
Extra tip
I have set my payout to 100% power up for at least a month so that I can grow my account. If the money for phone will come from then I might not get a new phone in the two months. (one month power up and one month to raise the money unless I sell my hive at $5).
Also, I replied a query today for going late to CDS last week. 😂😂😂
I left home early that's why I did not eat before leaving house but at last I was late today as well. 😂😂😂
