Hi Blurt Community friends,

Pakistan is a home of over 7,200 glaciers, the 2nd largest after the polar regions. The Himalaya, Karakoram, and Hindu Kush mountain ranges are the main source of these glaciers. These glaciers' melting ice and snow have formed many high-altitude lakes and also fulfill needs of water on lower grounds. Some lakes are situated on an elevation of 10,578 feet above sea level. Sharing some glaciers pictures taken while traveling to northern areas of Pakistan.
