Hello everyone, firstly, I thank @chiomy for the wonderful lecture she has given us about cryptocurrency, it's history, as well as the basic history of the blurt community. It's a great pleasure to be a student of this lecture.

Now to answer the questions.>>>

Q1: Write extensively about Satoshi Nakamoto

Satoshi Nakamoto is a fictitious name of the presumed person who developed and built the first cryptocurrency, Bitcoin (BTC). He was the first person that also built the bitcoin blockchain.

The true identity of this person has not been known yet, but in November 16th, 2021 a computer scientist known as Craig Wright claimed he is the owner and inventor of bitcoin.

This followed after the death of one David Kleiman in April 2013. The brother of the deceased, Ira Kleiman and his family also claimed David and Wright were very close friends and they partnered and built the Bitcoin blockchain together.

This is indeed not quite easy to believe as everyone is still wondering if Craig Wright is truly Satoshi Nakamoto, or even if he is, why has he decided to reveal his identity now? Craig Wright has also not given any proof as to if he is the true owner of the Bitcoin cryptocurrency.

Q2: Write short notes on any four cryptocurrencies

No.1 Ethereum (ETH): Ethereum is another decentralised cryptocurrency just like that of the Bitcoin. It is the second and second most traded cryptocurrency in the world.

It was built by a computer programmer known as Vitalik Buterin in 2013. This is different from the case of bitcoin of which we don't know the true identity of its creator. It is also used as a means of payment of goods and services. The price of Ethereum at the time of this post is $3,840.30 which is the equivalent of N1,776,676.39 in Nigerian Naira (NGN)

Conclusion

Cryptocurrencies have gone widespread the world and a whole lot of them are replacing the banking system in modes of payment and other transactions. The decentralisation is what makes it different from the bank operations. Everyone has every right on what he/she can do to or with his/her cryptocurrency.

In the first part of this post, when running through Grammarly to look for plagiarism the results came back "significant plagiarism".

Oh my!!!... I made a research from the internet, wrote what I have understood from it forgetting to run what I have written on a plagiarism checker so as not to be found plagiarised. I sincerely apologize my content is found to be plagiarism, it wasn't intentional, otherwise I did not just copy and paste. I read and understood, and then wrote down what I have understood. Thank you so much @dsc-r2cornell for pointing that out to me. Please permit me to rewrite or rephrase my assignment.

Update: Hi @dsc-r2cornell, I seem not to understand what grammarly wants as I can still see a significant plagiarism after rephrasing my statements. I ran the same content against another plagiarism checker tool https://smallseotools.com/plagiarism-checker/ and it found no plagiarism. Although, when I first ran it before rephrasing, I got an 8% plagiarism detection, and then after rephrasing the plagiarised statement, I then got an 100% plagiarism free content.
