"7 billion people, 14 billion faces". You may have heard this phrase in many places. Come to think of it, it does make sense.
My journey within the blockchain began around the month of July in 2018. I was overwhelmed by the sheer excellence of this technology and how it could impact the way we live life. My journey in cryptocurrency began somewhere around 2014, when I got involved with Bitcoin.
The cumulative knowledge coming from both of these inspired me to commence a journey that would lead me to finding ways of becoming a staple in the community as well as furthering the reach of said platforms.
Blogging had become sorts of a passion. It became evident that I would start working with various authors and groups to improve my writing skills and networking, and at the same time finding authors with potential and actively curating to support and highlight them.
Within that very journey I discovered vlogging and had become an avid video content maker, reaching success not much later.

What attracted me to Blurt?
My journey so far has been rich albeit there were things I wasn't pleased with. When @priyanarc first informed me about Blurt I was not as interested until she informed me @megadrive was behind this project. I immediately set up my account and published a short introduction post right from my clinic.
Right before the split there was a post, which is now one of the most popular posts, where the OP had asked witnesses what they had done for the blockchain. Obviously, the list that mattered the most came from mega. I took notice that except for my comment, most of the others were no less than belittling the man. This set concrete to my fumbling doubts about the cracks within the community.
I have been a fan of his work and the projects he has run in the past. Not to mention, he has been as communicative with the general community as possible. So what where the cracks about?
It had slowly become clearer that the chain was not as decentralized as it claimed to be. Nor was it fair or free from circle jerking and abuse. Freedom and censorship was camouflaged very well. To top it off, many authors didn't really find the recognition they deserved because of the above mentioned reasons.
Blurt, which is a brainchild of the witness that I knew had the right mindset, could once again relight life into true decentralization, fairness, no censorship and freedom that the blockchain is ought to provide. And that is the reason I want to have a bigger stake in the platform. That is the reason I want to be a dolphin, here.
I have never applied for a position before. I have been given positions. I think it is time I change that and voluntarily take a shot at the platform I believe has potential. And I see blurt to give the purest chance for all 14 billion faces to shine.
What are my plans?
My experiences throughout the last 2 years have been really knowledgeable. I have learnt a lot in terms of running a project, making big decisions for a blockchain, curation and curator. We already have deep chats in the blurtbangladesh discord group.
As a quality blogger myself, I have noticed tons of quality authors that have been shunned in the passed albeit their top notch work being put up. I want to make blurt the place where content creators can shine without fearing their posts hiding away behind the shadow of posts that stay up their due to favorism or circle-jerking.
Case and point, my focus will be on undervalued content creators that show potential or undiscovered quality authors. This will facilitate them to commit to blurt and grow the platform without being disappointed or leaving. This will not be limited to influencing the posts that stay or go to trending depending on my personal views on the topic.
My focus will be to become part of the influential group that plays a major key in guiding the path that blurt takes. Having thick skin, in form of Blurt Power, will allow me to assert a position where I can be a part of the discussions that take place and my voice will be given a solid ear.
In the past, all the other chains have been closed off and weren't as decentralized as it was supposed to be. As a dolphin I will be able to attach the voice of a general content creator and the community which has seldom been the case in the past.
At this point I stand on favorable grounds. My blurt journey has just begun. I am yet to be influenced or coerced. This gives me the unique privilege to discover new authors as well as old content creators on the platform without any bias.
Being a dolphin will help me onboard users from outside. 10000 in delegation gives me the chance to incentivize new users and even allure them to partake in blurting with good posts which in return gives them good support.
I plan on onboarding a few users soon from another crypto related platform. The mission will begin within a few days and blueprints have already been formulated.
And of course, blurttube. Oh yes! Although blogging is my main form of content creation, vlogging has been my ace in the sleeve. I am especially eager about blurttube. Apart from creative writing and blogging, I will be heavily invested in blurttube for obvious reasons. Vlogging will be a major priority and knowing how much effort and time it takes to make a tiny vlog, I will be pretty trigger happy to reward those who deserve it.
