HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY LOVELY DADDY

in blurtstory •  4 years ago

Hello. I was drawn to your post due to your edification of your father. Gratefulness is a wonderful attribute, especially when it comes from ones very foundation.

My daily affirmation inspired by think and grow rich by Napoleon Hills...

By 28th Feb next year, I'm hoping to accumulate a next worth of $50,000 and monthly income in excess of $3000 .

Affirmations are great. I do believe your goal of achieving this via the community will be quite difficult and urge you to think outside the box if you are to increase your odds of success. I've had pretty good success compared to many on the predecessors of this project, and in the span of a few years never accumulated but a fraction of your goals.

I'm willing to work for blurt blockchain if given the opportunity to showcase my skills. Moving my photography to more professional level is my big target, and certainly I'll get there sooner.

I'm assuming that your skills are resting primarily in the field of photography, based upon the above. I don't know the specifics regarding barriers with some of the suggestions I'm about to offer, but hopefully you can use some of them to aid in your quest for 50K.

  • See if you can join some stock photo sites such as Depositphotos, Canstock, etc. Photographers sell their photos on these sites, although not for very much. However, it will be a residual form of income where once you have the pictures there the work is done. Over time with enough volume of quality pictures your income from this will increase.

  • You may also target consumers of pictures in more direct ways. I was into self publishing for a couple year, for which I still receive small residual royalties to this day. Self publishing via Kindle, Kobo, Nook etc is a huge market. There is a large market for those who cater to these professionals. In your case, it could be selling your photos to them. Self publishers who are in it for the long haul make sure they have rights to the pictures they use for their covers and any pictures inside the books, although pictures inside are rare due to delivery costs charged to them by Kindle, etc.

Where I would suggest you go if you are of a mind, is learn how to take the photos and create covers for self publishers. The skill set involved with this would more likely allow you to make even more money as you could actually use others photos that you manipulate either with photoshop or an online system such as Canva.

Authors pay for covers ranging from as low as 5.00 each (on Fiverr) to hundreds of dollars. To give you an idea of what I am describing here, I'm placing a link to a marketplace where designers are offering their premade covers for sale.

I wish you much success in your goals, and look forward to reading of your victories.

I just created an account and I'm yet to get started.
Maybe you could drop me your WhatsApp contact so we could communicate better.

I don't have a whatsapp or any other social accounts. I know there are fees here but this will need to be where I can answer questions, although much of the way forward I won't be much help as I was always on the authors side, not the artists.

I will say I navigated my way with groups and videos quite a bit. To give an example of what I mean, here are some examples.

This next one is a video by Derek Murphy, who is a well known name in self publishing.

You will find a good understanding of potential clients here.

They even have a yellow pages for advertising your shop once you are established.

A search there narrowed down to just cover art.

Glad to see you eager to start, and look forward to where you go from here. Feel free to ask more questions (maybe save them up to save on posting fees) and I will answer them if I can.
