According to web 3.0(3rd generation of internet service) is a decentralized notification protocol that enables wallet address (user's) to receive notifications and obtain tokens incentives through active participation and these notifications can be received through their centralized or decentralized solutions.
Ethereum push notification service has been alive since January 2020 till date, and it has huge variety of smart contract, DApp, and also contain aspect which enables user's to earn crypto for just receiving notifications.
With a core development team of 11 persons from different part of the world with 4 project adviser's EPNS has come to stay.
WHAT MAKES EPNS UNIQUE
It gives it's user's utmost control over services they get notifications from.
User's also makes roles on the service section as spam protection which means they're treated more like a social feed rather than a piece of information.

They're 4 different types of push user's and they're made different due to the user's choice of notification
Service providers: they act as user's who wants to send notifications.
Receivers: these set receives if they're deem to be beneficiaries.
Wallet enable user's: To receive notifications through their centralized or decentralized solutions.
Token holders: those who can define the rules between the above user's.
PROJECT PURPOSE
All contributions will be applied towards the advancing, promoting the research, design and development of, and advocacy for the missing piece of web 3.0 infrastructure with the introduction of the decentralized notification protocol.
