There lived a family from a small town called "Shomolu". There were only there in this family,a boy named James and his parents. They were very poor and find it hard to eat two square meal a day. James became a drop out because his parents couldn't afford to pay his school fees.
There were times James had to hawk in the streets of Shomolu so as for them to be able to survive.
James had this dream of becoming a great musician but had no one to help him pursue his dreams. In the long run ,James lost his both parents the same day.
This really added to James pain as he was fed up of life as he had no one to confide in. But James never gave up,or let the trauma stop him from chasing his dreams.
Months passed ,and finally there was a singing competition organized in the town by those from who came from the ciity.
James heard this and bought the ticket to partake in the competition since it was an opportunity for him to pursue his dreams. He went for the audition and was picked to perform in the final stage of the competition. The day for the competition came,and James was frightened since he wasn't used to it.
Later on he was cheered up by the audience and sang the song "Halo by Beyonce " the judges were so impressed with the way he sang and he also got a standing ovation from the crowd. He also won the competition and given an award with 1000 dollars in Nigerian naira.
James was heartbroken seeing this, as tears dropped from his eyes. He asked for the mike and said "How I wished my parents were alive to witness this great achievement of mine" and also he said "My advice to everyone out there is to never stop dreaming"
At the end of the day,James was called upon by a song promoter who came for the show,and was also impressed with the way he performed on stage ,and was signed into a record label .
This was how James became a celebrity and a music superstar . He also went back to school to further his education and came out with a second class upper in mass communication.
